Key ingredients include Peptides that inhibit tyrosinase activity while reducing the melanosome transfer and it also inhibits the triggers of inflammation. Licorice extract is used as a tyrosinase inhibitor as well as an anti-inflammatory. Niacinamide uses vitamin B3 to inhibit melanin transfer into keratinocytes as well as enhancing the functioning of the lipid bilayer. Arbutin provides a similar skin-brightening effect of hydroquinone, without the risks.
